McNerney Field Director, 

Voter Registration Training &

Brentwood School Board Candidate

Vecky Elliott, Field Director, McNerney for Congress talked to the group on Jerry McNerney’s Voter Registration Effort.  Congressman McNerney is looking at not only increasing the Democratic Voter Turnout for this election, but providing long term growth in the democratic presence in Contra Costa County while assisting local democratic clubs increase membership.
Carol Weed, Rossmoor Voter Registration Volunteers, provided us with Voter Registration Training.  She went through all of the rules and procedures and gave great examples of what you can expect.  Voter registration closes October 22nd.
 
Thuy DaoJensen, candidate Brentwood Union School Board,
 spoke on “My Political Candidate Training”.  She participated in the Progressive Change Campaign Committee’s Candidate (PCCC) training Washington DC in April.  She has received their endorsement and networked all over the U.S.  She talked about why she is running and why School Board Elections are so important to the community.
